It’s always nice to find new games on the Google Play Store, and Memozzle is one game worth checking out. Memozzle is a smartphone rendition of the popular card game snap and will get players turning over and matching cards as quickly as possible.
As you can guess, the quicker time you finish up matching all the cards, the better score you’ll get, and the more points you’ll put yourself in front of your opponent. Games are split into multiple rounds so you have a chance at coming back at your opponent if you don’t perform as well as you could do, and at the end of the round you can see the score you and your opponent have racked up.
On Memozzle before you play a game, you’ll spend most of the time on the lobby. The lobby feels very similar to games like Draw Something and Song Pop and it allows you to match up and play against random opponents, search for specific names, and invite friends from Facebook and Twitter to play with you.
Once you have finished a game, you can see the game results on this lobby, and you can also view any in-progress games that may be happening.
Whilst you’re on the lobby you can also view achievements and game stats. Some features are reserved for the paid-for version, including your game stats and offline practice mode.
Despite the nice layout and enjoyable, fast game experience, the player base of Memozzle is currently very small. Unfortunately Memozzle remains as a hidden gem in the Play store at the moment, and finding a game can often be a slow process. Once you’ve found a game and finish a round, you are stuck on the game screen till the other player finishes a round, and whilst you can easily cancel a game, you may have to wait around a bit before finding a game.
Once the player base picks up a little, Memozzle will be a very enjoyable game that offers quick memory-testing gameplay that can be picked up and played at any point in the day.
Memozzle is free and includes ads, however an ad-free paid version with extra features is also available.
